  We spent the Easter long weekend at this caravan park. Peter (the owner) was friendly and accommodating. We called to check availability and luckily there was as a caravan parks in the surrounding areas where booked out. I'm glad we got a powered site overlooking the lake. We got our site for $26 a night which was great value. There was another couple in the powered site in front of us who were quiet and had no problems with. We were close to the bathroom facilities. The bathrooms were slightly dated, basic, but clean and the shower had really good pressure. They could do with better lighting above the showers as it was slightly dark. There were a few cobwebs and mould on the ceiling. The lake itself was almost full but was a pleasant setting for this caravan park. I'm glad we didn't get a site right next to the family who looked like they had booked a couple of sites which had been filled with bikes, a fire pit, caravan and a large bus which had been turned into accommodation for one family. They were situated in the centre of the park away from us which was great. Its a peaceful setting and would be buzzing during the summer months with lots of water activities on the lake.
  
  We tried to get a coffee and meal at the local Stag Hotel but the hours of operation were limited and they closed their kitchen early. We got a horrid coffee from the general store/GPO building next door and wasn't worth it at $4 for a coffee.
